The meaning of reconciliation is bringing something together. It is bringing something together by understanding each other, giving peace and making an agreement. This will help get my sponsor and I to get along with each other by understanding each other, giving peace and making an agreement.

Post #10: About My Sponsor

Well, I chose my sponsor because I trusted him, he is responsible, he is a helpful person and a happy person! :) Everyone has that kind of person who is nice, responsible, helpful and always a caring person, I know because it happened to me, my family and my friends. Whenever, my sponsor is upset he always turns his frown upside down. So, I chose him to be my sponsor :)

Well, I'm the person who didn't choose my sponsor, my parents did. Ever since I was a baby my parents chose their close friend to be my sponsor. His name is Jasper. They have been close friends with each other since they were both in high-school until now.When I was born my parents' friend wanted to be the god-father. Until I grew up my god-father has been being really nice and has been there for me ever since I have been going threw hard times. He has been being really helpful to my parents and to me, which is really good for my him and I to have a strong relationship between each other. I honestly trust him to be my god-father for the past few years. I believed that when I met him we had a strong connection to talk to each other and to care for each other. I choose you to be my sponsor because you have been taking great care of me ever since I was a baby, you have been really responsible and most of all I know you Ninong Jas, and since I'm soon going to get confirmed it would be easier for the both of us to continue our relationship to show trust, love and care for each other and to my family.

Post #5: Reflection on the Apostles Creed

What the Apostles Creed means to me is:

The First Sentence:

"I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth."

That first sentence tells me that God has made me precious. He has given me my own body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my senses, and takes care of all of my family/friends. He also gives me clothing, shoes, food and drink, a place to live in, a great environment, animals, and all I have. He provides me with all that I need to take good care of this body and life. He defends me against all danger and guards and protects me from all evil.

Second Sentence:

"And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Plate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead."

The second sentence tells me that Jesus Christ, the Father from eternity, and born of the Virgin Mary, is my Lord. Who has redeemed me, and won over from all sins, death, and from the power of the devil, not with a gold or silver medal, but with his holy, precious blood and with his suffering and death, that I may be his own kingdom and serve him in everlasting righteousness just as he is risen from the dead.

The Third Sentence:

"I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen".

This last sentence of the Apostles Creed tells me that I cannot own a reason or strength to believe in Jesus Christ, my Lord, or come to him. But the Holy Spirit has called me by the Gospel and kept me in the true faith. In the same way he calls, gathers the whole Christian church on earth, and keeps it with Jesus Christ in the one true faith. In church he forgives all my sins.
